" Wail of Despair " follows a poor unfortunate girl who's alone after her parents drop her off at her local fast food play place. As she enters the colorful tunnels, a stranger follows her inside, and soon she descends into a vibrant nightmare. A cute horror game where you must guide a girl through increasingly strange tubes, help her survive, and arrive at one of multiple conclusions. A vibrant colorful yet nostalgic setting with a gurgling darkness that's ready to consume you; a stylized world that you explore as you make your way through these impossibly large and decorated series of tunnels. An original soundtrack full of ambient noise, shoegaze and ethereal music to strike a balance of a horrific yet empathetic atmosphere. Surreal and liminal vibes meet childlike innocence and curiosity to an evil they do not yet fully comprehend. A strong sense of mystery with a story told out of order, with hard jump cuts and dialogueless voice acting, with multiple endings based on your actions. Strange horrors lurk in this kaleidoscopic psychological descent. Pain comes in many forms...
