沙盒沙盒是這款遊戲的副標題，指的是遊戲中有許多可以獨立互動的系統，裏頭的每個NPC會有各自的發展與成長行為，譬如生老病死、結婚生子、升遷投資......等等，製作的目標是讓NPC能執行所有玩家可以辦到的事情，而不同國體的國家會嘗試交流、衝突、探索和擴張，整個經濟體則會不停地來回循環、景氣變化，玩家和人物的投資也會實際參與到經濟循環當中，即便沒有玩家的參與，整個世界仍能自主運行、生生不息。 人生模擬器人生模擬則是遊戲的主題，玩家能以一個自訂人物的視角去觀察、參與這個世界，有些人含著金湯匙出生、有些人被棄養在貧民窟、有些人家庭幸福、有些人父母離異、有些人仕途順遂、有些人顛簸流離、有些人福星高照、有些人生不逢時，更多的時候，角色是和自己對抗的，努力程度的行為、放鬆心情的域值、家庭關係與人際的維持，職業的變化與升遷、能力與專業的培養，少年時期的時光分配、中老年後的體力維持，事業起飛時的投資、買房、擴張勢力、征服世界......，人不會平白無故的成功，每個人都只能成為自己想成為的人，場外人生一直是秉持著這個原則去製作的。 幽默而真實幽默而真實是遊戲製作的原則方向，遊戲中有不少無厘頭的事件，對於Get到梗的玩家來說，或許能會心一笑，但與此同時，遊戲的核心架構則盡可能的保持了真實與深度，有限的時間和行動力難以在人生中進行完美分配，成家立業後的生活費、子女的養育費、中年後的健康開銷，一層又一層的社會階級、難以掌握的行動系統和情報，變數眾多的家庭與人物、糾葛不清的人際互動，不停變化的市場走向、無法控制的國際情況，以及角色自己老是放鬆打混、不思進取，甚至天生素質低落、讓玩家感到無藥可救，和真實的人生一樣，多數角色會無頭亂竄好一陣子，但與其不同的是，身為玩家的你或許可以多次嘗試，替角色找到完美的出路，所謂人生的攻略。 (っ´ω`c) 長期的製作從製作開始的那一天，這款遊戲就成為了我生活上的重心，不停地重製、添加新內容，發布完後總是沒有玩家、感到難受沮喪，但不久又會重新振作繼續開發，做完了又覺得前面添加的內容其實挺糟糕的，於是乎又投入其中，開發、重製、發布、沮喪、振作、開發、重製、發布...... 這樣的循環已經成為了我的日常作息，內容不停的增加、不停地優化，看到遊戲逐漸成長的樣子讓我著實有成就感，雖然發布的時候通常會失落一陣子，但長久下來總是能得到一些來自玩家的回饋，然後藉此繼續優化並添加更多的新內容，我喜歡這款遊戲，也期待著這樣的開發循環能持續下去，相信有天，遊戲真的能夠變得有趣，讓人投入其中感到驚艷。 (っ´ω`c) 不忘初衷遊戲的開發已經超過一年了，實際的工作量或許只有短短幾個月，而現有的內容仍舊相當糟糕，對於多數玩家而言，這或許是款難以理解的文字小品遊戲，上頭介紹到的內容大部份也只是點到而已，有些只是原型、簡陋而不容易探索，對於帶入感不強的玩家，遊戲可能就是一堆跑動的文字，製作的過程我總是會花時間來優化並解決這些問題，但隨著製作總會有些迷失，不論如何打磨，遊戲終究沒辦法讓所有人都滿意，開發上愈是想添加更多的內容，就可能會疏忽更多的細節，遊戲未來的樣貌，似乎也只有自己才能想像的到，每當自我質疑到達一個高峰時，我才會回想起自己做遊戲的初衷，「想做出自己心目中的理想作品」，當這個念頭回到心頭上後，開發總能繼續下去，我想，要是有天遊戲能順利地完成開發，即便不大可能成為主流遊戲，但只要有個玩家能在其中找到一些樂趣、消磨一些快樂的時光，那我就心滿意足了。
