When his mother disappears, he finds himself all alone in an abandoned monastery\. After years spent with only constructs for company, he leaves to find a true forever friend and playmate\. When he stumbles upon Azumi, he naively kidnaps the young magical prodigy with a gift for origami\. The dragon scares her but she does her best to reach out to would\-be rescuers\! Can the PCs follow a trail of clues to save both Azumi and Kurisutaru from the dragons loneliness?  A Friend in Need  is a stand\-alone mini\-adventure for  5th Edition  and 1st level characters\. Recommended for ages six and up, this module includes adventure content as well as advice for gaming with children\.
